Accelerator 10-Week Course for Entrepreneurs & Inventors

The first and only entrepreneurial accelerator program in the Pueblo region launched in January 2018 to include a signature course offering. Through a combination of group instruction, individual consulting, and guest presenters from a network of experts and mentors, participants will receive hands-on support and guidance with launching or taking their business to the next level. 

Startup Pueblo Meetup:
Monthly Networking Event

Startup Pueblo Meetup is a monthly informal networking eventp for entrepreneurs and startup enthusiasts. A great way to get connected with the Pueblo startup community and hear from a variety of peers and professionals. Meetups are traditionally the first Tuesday of the month and held at downtown location. Like our Startup Pueblo Meetup Facebook page to stay connected.


Inventors Bootcamp & Trainings

Whether you’re an aspiring or serial inventor, training opportunities and resources are available to help provide guidance in the patent, production and business development processes in hopes to help you not spend a dime until it’s time. In partnership with the Inventors Roundtable, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (Denver branch) and a diverse group of statewide professionals, innovative training opportunities are available along with consulting and networking opportunities.
  Mentorship Program

Through our Mentorship Program, entrepreneurs cultivate relationships and gain insight from a diverse group of industry leaders, established business professionals, and experienced business owners. Entrepreneurs and mentors are strategically matched according to industry, background and expertise, strengths and weaknesses, and the current phase of the business lifecycle, while also having an opportunity to network as a group on a regular basis. 


Co-Working Space (at Innovation Studio)

The new Southern Colorado Innovation Studio is a collection of co-working office spaces available for use and rental by entrepreneurs. The studio occupies the upper floor of the First and Main office building across from the Pueblo Convention Center. The co-working spaces include several shared offices, multiple desks, a large conference room and a break room.


SOCO Entrepreneur Competition: Student & Adult Divisions

Southern Colorado’s version of Shark Tank is an annual competition held in April. Launched four years ago by the Hasan School of Business at CSU-Pueblo with collaboration from Startup Pueblo, Southern CO SBDC and a variety of sponsors, the competition hosts two divisions: a Student Business Plan Competition and the Adult Venture Capital Pitch Competition.
